Freedom Warped

There is a conflict which has been subtly raging for decades in various spheres and forms between good and evil. Perhaps this is not news, but the scale of the battle has recently shifted dramatically. In the late 1960’s there were public demonstrations for women’s rights; collaterally this included a “sexual” revolution. Previously, the Supreme Court decided that posting the Ten Commandment on public grounds was the promotion of religion by Government, interpreted to be prohibited by the Constitution. Prayer in schools was also prohibited. Secular Courts and government took steps to remove expressions and practices of faith, which the First Amendment protected. This violated over 180 years of prior precedent and practice. 

Secular means non-religious or in practice anti-religious. Some may consider it a separation from religion, but the practical effect is consistently opposition to faith. Secular groups generally include agnostics and atheists. Since these cultural revolutions, religious expression has been on the defense by a hostile government. A prime example of secular expression and practice is abortion, which is the killing of unborn babies. Government funds it and protects it strenuously against Christians simply praying on sidewalks by abortion operations. Libraries demand that sexually explicit books aimed to promote gender dystopia in children must be easily accessible to children rather than to adults. Common sense ideas supported by scientific fact are under attack by woke advocates demanding recognition of six or more genders. These are just a few examples.

A case was just accepted by the Supreme Court over governments restriction of a man publicly preaching Christian ideas from the Bible. The local government arrested and convicted him of being offensive and slandering other people by his statements. Both religious expression and free speech guaranteed in the first Amendment are under attack by those who are opposed to faith, Christianity, and conservative American values. Wearing a tee shirt with “Jesus” on it got a man arrested at a LGBTQ public march.

Good and evil are opposed and the conflict has reached a fevered level within society, perhaps the whole world. The party’s are divided and moving in directions counter to each other. There seems to be no middle ground left or means of reaching consensus on collateral aspects or basic facts. Even some science is yielding to subjective imaginations. When a static universe was disproved, evolutionists began to prop up gaps in their theory. Cosmologists are finding excuses for entropy and factoring imagination as an actual element in the open system of the universe. Collaterally Biology is offset by imagined genders by deluded people. Will truth and observation prevail over delusion? Will self-evident truth stand against the freedom of delusion and perversion?
