As a disciple of Yeshua, Believers do what He did. (John 14: 12; Rom. 8: 29; 2 Cor. 3: 18). The same Holy Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on every born again Believer as it was on Yeshua. Many reservations, qualifications, exceptions, distinctions and excuses come into my mind even as I write this, but one scripture followed, “For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.” (John 3: 34). Whenever we look at the natural, physical, human person we will see weakness, failure, limitation, brokeness and depravity, but every aspect of the one God in three persons is holy, eternal, unlimited, loving, just, true, in brief, infinitely perfect. So, lay aside rationalization and explanations upon the incomprehensible fact that God has made His dwelling place, His temple, the human hearts of the congregation of Believers. Everything I’m saying is God’s doing, therefore, miraculous, transcendent, and ascribed to Him. He never abandoned His creation. His plan was established before creation and is dependent on nothing in creation.
By faith alone we see, hear, sense and converse with the Almighty. Yeshua Messiah has made Him known and through Yeshua we have access to the Father. (2 Cor. 5: 18-21; Eph. 2: 18). Believers are being conformed into the image of Yeshua. When Yeshua picked up the Isaiah scroll and read it in the synagogue He realized or fulfilled the prophets vision. “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, …”. (Isaiah 61: 1ff). In the same ministry where He was anointed and sent, each Believer has a share and presence therein. Yeshua said, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14: 12-18).
Can you begin to grasp by faith the eternal infinite ability of God to fulfill His promise and word on earth as it is in Heaven? These words are foolishness to the worldly and offensive to the religious who trust in themselves, however, to everyone who lives by faith and the indwelling Holy Spirit, it is truth, joy and hope everlasting. Our knowledge and rational perception is very limited. We can’t see the work of God unless it is by faith and the Spirit. (Matt. 11:25; Col. 3: 3-4). Even as God works in and through us, we may not realize it’s full extent, because He is doing it and our part is very small. Yet, by faith we can see and have confidence that He reigns supreme and is Sovereign over all.
