How to Bless a Believer

“The Lord said to Moses, ‘Tell Aaron and his sons, This is how you are to bless the Israelites.  Say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.’  So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.” (Numbers 6: 22-27). You might think this is just an Old Testament thing that God provided to Aaron through Moses as a symbolic blessing for the Israelites, which is ancient history and not…

Messiah’s Return

Israel was destroyed in 70 AD, by the Romans, shorty after the Messiah Yeshua was killed, raised to life and ascended to heaven.  In 1947 the Israeli nation was reestablished.  In 1967, Jerusalem the capital of Israel was liberated from foreign captivity and rule.  In 2018, Jerusalem was designated the capital of Israel by the USA, followed by other free nations. How much longer will there be until the Messiah Returns and the Jewish people accept their Messiah?  Israel’s return as a nation in the land is a beacon of Yeshua’s soon return.  Yes, the revived Roman empire from the…

The Highway of Holiness

“A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.  The unclean shall not pass over it but it shall be for others.  Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray.  No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; it shall not be found there.  But the redeemed shall walk there, and the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads.  They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”…

Coming Influence of God

The desert and wilderness will break forth into blossom revealing the splendor and glory of God. Those with feeble knees and fearful heart hear, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Then will the eyes of the blind be opened; the ears of the deaf unstopped; the lame will leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Pools of water will gush forth in the wilderness and bubbling streams in the desert. And a highway will be there; it will be…

Promises to Israel – Their Irrevocable Call

“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” Zechariah 12:10 “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will…

The Promised Land

“Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.  Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.  From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the…

The Believer’s Status

“Oh, I got a text from Shana,” she said.  I paused thinking, how is she texting my Cousin, whom I haven’t spoken to in several years, when she said, “…you know from Arkansas.”  “Oh, yeah, how is she and Chip,” I replied.  We want to know the status of our friends – that they are well. As a Believer, we must remember our state of being, united with Yeshua, Messiah.  The Apostle describes in great detail our position as Believers.  “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us…

Bethlehem

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2. “And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David): To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.   And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that…

God’s Temple

Israel is an example to us today; all that happened, their choices, their delivery from enemies, their falling away from God, the building of the Temple, the Ten commandments, and all the rest.  We see in Israel God’s ideas delivered to them in great specificity and detail.  In regard to the temple, perhaps it seemed like King David’s idea at first, but God said no, and at the right time gave the plans to Solomon.  The temple was the dwelling place for God on earth.  In the temple were the, laver, the lamp, the show bread, and incense.  God’s presence…

What Happened to the Sacrifice

The sacrifice in the Torah has been fulfilled by a lasting, once for all sacrifice of the Lamb of God, His one and only son Yeshua, Messiah.  That sacrifice was the one to which all the rituals of Passover pointed. So, when the curtain in the temple was rent from top to bottom, as the spotless lamb of God died on the cross, the Holy place was opened, providing access to God, through Yeshua.  The temple was destroyed in 70 AD.; the sacrifice ceased at that time as well.  However, there is another scripture…

God’s Building From Start to Finish

God is a master builder.   “For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” (Heb. 11:10).  ” For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.  Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house, bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future.  But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house.  And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.” (Heb. 3:4-6).   He is building a Kingdom of…
